In February 2001, Travis joined the Valuation & Strategy division in the Partner in charge of an assignment for a private foreign airline which required a valuation of a minority shareholding in the business for settlement negotiations between various shareholders in dispute. Led the valuation of a Central Asian gold mining business on behalf of minority shareholders involved in a dispute. Valued a retail off-licence chain to assist management's analysis of various strategic alternatives, including disposal. Valuing the shares issued to the management of an online credit pricing platform under an employee share scheme in accordance with the Income Tax (Earning and Pensions) Act 2003. Partner on a project for an SEC registered client who required an SFAS 142 impairment review of two consumer products businesses.
