Dipankar Ghosh
Dipankar is one of the Until his retirement at the end of 2004, Dipankar was a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers UK firm, where his responsibilities, in addition to client work, included heading the Risk Management, Compliance, and Technical functions in its Corporate Recovery practice. He is a Fellow of the Dipankar’s client assignments included some of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ largest insolvency assignments, such as Enron Europe in 2004 and Atlantic Computers in 1991. He also acted as officeholder in virtually every form of insolvency procedure in a wide range of business sizes and industries. He also held appointments under the Financial Services Act, and led the PricewaterhouseCoopers teams on a number of restructurings outside formal insolvency processes. In his insolvency and restructuring work, Dipankar has worked with all the major banks as well as with other financial institutions and stakeholders, HM Government, and regulators in the In addition to his professional work, Dipankar has served on the Finance & General Purposes Committee of the Insolvency Practitioners Association and as Secretary to its Technical Sub-Committee that reviewed and made submissions on the bill that led to the Insolvency Act 1986. He currently serves as a Senior Professional Panel Member for the Insolvency Practitioners Association’s monitoring and inspection team.
